(suitable for making figurines to paint)

Mix in sauce pan until thoroughly blended:
1 c. cornstarch
2 c. baking soda

Mix in:
1 1/4 c. cold water

Cook over medium heat about 4 minutes (until consistency of mashed potatoes).
Remove from stove.
Cover with damp cloth till cool.
Knead as you would dough.
Shape into figures and let dry thoroughly.
Paint.
