Soft & Fluffy Sugar Cookies

1 cup Marg.
4 tsp. BP
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups sugar
5 1/2 cup flour

~ cream marg, sugar, BP and soda till it starts to foam.
Add vanilla, eggs and sour cream.
Mix well.
Add in flour one cup at a time.
Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness, on a highly floured countertop.
Cut to size.

~Bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 min.

Powdered Sugar Frosting

1 cup shortening
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. clear vanilla

~whip together then add:

1 lb. powdered sugar.
Mix well.
Add color and more water for desired thickness.
