Spanish Rice

8 slices bacon
2 cups water
1 tsp. salt
1 cup rice
2/3 cups tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
Cook and crumble bacon in medium saucepan.
Remove bacon and pour water into bacon drippings.
Bring water to a boil.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
Reduce heat, cover with lid, and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to sit 5 minutes before serving.
